Note: Photographer Robert H Mann (born 1859, died in 1944).  He came to Virginia when he was 20, purchased a photography studio, and was in business for 55 years.  He was listed as a photographer on Front St in 1896.  Per Selected Wrights 1936-1988, Mann had hotel in Virgina, IL in 1896.  Hotel was still called The Mann (Hotel) in 1931.  Mann was mayor 1899-1900.  Known as "Col. Mann & wife Miss Myrtle".
